Starting this Friday, April 24, the PDFs for all three books will be available for purchase and download from the independent publishers who created these books, including right here at the Legendary Games webstore! If you didn’t back the Kickstarter, you can get them right here and from our partners at Kobold Press, Dreamscarred Press, and Rogue Genius Games before they are available anywhere else! You also get to support the companies that made these magnificent mythic manuals manifest! We love all our sales partners, but buying directly from your independent companies puts more money in the hands of content creators by avoiding substantial commissions (typically 20-35% on PDFs and 50%+ on print products). If you always buy from an outside vendor, then by all means keep buying, but we invite you to consider making your purchase directly from us!

You can also preorder print copies and print/PDF bundles for each book. Print books are expected to arrive in late June, and preordered books will be sent via Fulfillment by Amazon once all Kickstarter backer copies have been shipped.

Wide Release for MYTHIC MAY DAY!!! Starting on Friday, May 1st, the PDFs for all three books will be available from our sales partners at the Open Gaming Store, Paizo, and DrivethruRPG! Print books and print/PDF bundles will also be available for preorder as above at Paizo and the Open Gaming Store; the PDFs will be ready for immediate download and the books will be shipped after backer orders. Print books will be available directly from amazon.com as well once the books arrive, though will not be available for preorder.

In the first of a new series of Mythic Minis, we begin breaking down the racial feats of the fiery ifrits and the stony oreads. The latest from Legendary is Mythic Monsters: Bugs, available right now on the Legendary Games webstore and tomorrow in wide release. So why bugs? Of all the monsters in RPGs, aren’t they just about the most ordinary enemy there is?  Here’s the thing… from mindless vermin of titanic size and terrible hunger to clever and cunning insectoid monstrosities as brilliant as they are deadly, bugs as monsters play upon the primal fears of your players as much as the heroes they play. Things that creep and crawl inspire a deep-seated fear and revulsion in the real world far out of proportion to their size. Whether this stems from their primitive symmetry, their relentless sense of hive-like order, their almost alien appearance, or their inexhaustible numbers as they keep coming in wave after mindless wave, they inspire a certain dread that cuts to the core.
