hybrid

Noble, meet SAVAGE… and something NEW!

Last week saw the dazzling debut of our latest Legendary class compendium with Legendary Cavaliers, and there was much rejoicing! This week, though, it’s time to get down and dirty with the biggest and baddest boss of bashing brains in, the bodacious BARBARIAN! Jeff Gomez and Jason Nelson bring you dozens upon dozens of new rage powers, class features, archetypes, magic items, and so much more for the warriors that turn going WILD into an art form! You’ll find support for standard and unchained barbarians, as well as a ground-up revision of the class in the brand-new Legendary Barbarian, with a sample character ready to go so you can rock and roll right out of the box. In case you thought we were through, we’re already working on books devoted to alchemists and rangers, plus a special surprise that just hit layout this weekend. Keep reading…

Meanwhile, to the matter at hand, you can grab the spectacular 42-page Legendary Barbarians today at the Legendary Games webstore, Open Gaming Store, Paizo, DrivethruRPG, and soon at Amazon too!

On top of brand-new books for cavaliers and barbarians, we are also celebrating a third wonderful warrior class this week as our TWO$DAY Product of the Week in honor of Endzeitgeist bestowing his 5-star seal of approval review upon one of our delightful hybrid classes, the deadly Legendary Hybrids: Doomguard! This combination of cavalier and ranger draws upon the chassis of both but brings something very new and different to the table in a warrior of woe following his fate to its fatal conclusion! He calls this class one of the single best examples ever for a simple, easy to grasp, yet superbly creative class. The doom-angle and vastly diverging playstyles and playing experiences born from them, rocks. From the dooms to the archetypes, the class is incredibly METAL. The concept of the doomed, potent hunter suffuses the whole class, offering exciting tweaks, and manages to be totally distinct from the parent classes. In short, this is not only a hybrid that stands out, and does so in a category of design that I usually loathe (linear classes), it does so with panache aplomb. Carl Cramér and Jason Nelson deliver a super cool hybrid here, one that absolutely deserves my highest accolades – 5 stars + seal of approval. Super recommended, one of the best hybrid classes out there! If you wanted to play a truly metal warrior-style character, look no further!”

But hey, don’t take his word for it – grab a copy today at 80% off for just $2!

Now those class books are amazing, and we’ve made over TWENTY of them now for classes in the Pathfinder Roleplaying Game, but we also just dropped off to layout over the weekend two new class compendium books for a whole knew game system. That’s right, fingers crossed we’ll be ready to launch at GenCon the first book in our new Star Classes line, giving the Legendary treatment to the character classes of the Starfinder Roleplaying Game! The first in the series, Star Classes: Solarians is already in layout, and Star Classes: Envoys is already complete and in the layout queue right behind it!

But wait, IT GETS BETTER! You see, we’re also working the other way around as well, as we’ve taken some of the classes from the Starfinder Roleplaying Game and recreated them for Pathfinder! That’s right, you’ll also be looking forward to seeing Legendary Solarions and Legendary Mechanics for the Pathfinder Roleplaying Game, as both are in their final development phase with Robert Brookes and N. Jolly, and then they’ll be ready for layout as well, probably coming your way in August!

We’ll have more previews to share with you soon, but whichever way you want to play your sci-fi heroes, you always know that our books will Make Your Sci-Fi Game Legendary!

DOOM is coming – with not one, not Two, but THREE previews!

This Friday, we are delighted to debut the first Legendary product from the prodigious pen of Carl Cramer, with a brand new hybrid character class – The DOOMGUARD!

Legendary Hybrids: Doomguard is the latest volume in our series of class-focused player supplements, introducing a new series of hybrid classes like those in the Pathfinder Roleplaying Game Advanced Class Guide that blend the core elements of two different base classes into a unique synergy all their own. The Doomguard brings you a 20-level hybrid class that combines the deadly hunting skills, specialized combat prowess, and focused wrath of the ranger with the glorious defiance and battlefield of the cavalier, with a special twist: a terrible and dire doom that follows him like an oracle’s curse and binds him to his fated enemies at whose hands he is doomed to die! You can select from 45 different dooms, from maimed and blinded to powerless prophet and stigmata! You’ll also find favored class bonuses for core races and a quartet of amazing archetypes, from the dauntless and daring challenger, the defensive bulwark of the doomwarden, the fey foundling orphan with a forgotten lineage but connections to the mystical world of the fey, and the dread raven banner with a death wish that defies all who stand in his path. If you’ve ever wanted to play a warrior with a dark destiny crawling from behind and even as it drives him onwards to meet his fate for death or glory, pick up this 38-page Pathfinder character class supplement today and Make Your Game Legendary!

This new class will be available everywhere this Friday, February 24, but it’s far from the only class-focused supplement we have in the hopper! Also in layout you can look forward to two more terrific class books in the weeks to come!

Legendary Kineticists II by Ehn Jolly and Onyx Tanuki!

Legendary Kineticists II unleashes the true potential of the kineticist class with a vast array of new kinetic options, starting with 8 amazing archetypes for both kineticists, like the onslaught blaster and telekinetic bladeshifter, as well as for other classes like the planar custodian druid and order of the scion cavalier. You’ll also find dozens of new infusions, wild talents, and kinetic feats and spells to enhance your kineticists of every specialty. In addition, you can expand the bounds of kinetics like never before with the kinetic mystic prestige class, variant multiclassing for kineticists, and a complete 20-level rebuild of the core kinetic class, the legendary kineticist! On top of everything else, you will also find Trueno, herald of the White Sky, a richly detailed kineticist master complete with combat tactics and a compelling history and personality, to show how these powers play at the table in a ready-to-use character you can drop right into an existing game or even build an entire campaign around.

Legendary Villains: Wicked Witches by Alex Riggs!

Legendary Villains: Wicked Witches brings you an incredible resource for the best of the worst when it comes to sinister spellcasters for your Pathfinder Roleplaying Game campaign. Within you’ll find a ton of great new options for witches, including archetypes like the consort of fiends, curio collector, and shadow sister, along with the terrifying hag matron prestige class, complete with special abilities unique to each type of hag. Wicked witches can swear oaths to their eldritch patrons, gaining power through their devotion to natural forces like frost and waves, or to corrupt principles from lies and destruction to hedonism and madness! You’ll also find new hexes like the haruspex and skull sentinel and witch-themed magic items like the broom of chastisement and toxic cauldron. Finally, for witches who want to start play with an otherworldly familiar, you’ll find over a dozen lesser versions of exotic familiars like quasits, imps, rakshasas, and shadow drakes!

And last but not least, we’d be remiss if we didn’t celebrate yet another 5-star-seal-of-approval review from Endzeitgeist, this time for Mythic Monsters: Mesoamerica!

[A]s a whole, this is a truly evocative, unique array of adversaries. More important, at least to me as a professed aficionado of Aztec mythology and Mesoamerican folklore, the creatures herein just are infinitely closer to what they ought to be doing. Increasingly, I can observe this series spoiling me horribly regarding monsters – I expect by now that a creature has a couple of unique, flavorful tricks up its sleeve – so much so that the last two bestiaries, from a mechanic point of view, often disappointed me. This pdf’s achievement, then, would lie in actually making these evocative, classic and oh so awesome beings finally live up to their myths. Mythic indeed.

You can read the full review on Endy’s page here, and you also can help bring Endy to Indy by purchasing this amazing bundle, featuring a ton of his best-reviewed products from Legendary Games and others at a fantastic discount!
