Celebration Day for LG!

We have LOTS of great reasons to celebrate today at LG! First off, we just passed the 6-year anniversary of the relaunch of LG under Jason Nelson’s direction, PLUS this weekend is my birthday, but besides those we’ve got two especially good pieces of news!

First is that our Fates of Madness cooperative RPG card game HAS FUNDED! We’ve finally reached our goal and are looking forward to a fantastic finish tonight and tomorrow! If you haven’t already jumped aboard, come check it out and help us grab a stretch goal or two and make this game even better! Don’t get left out when Madness is on the line!

Secondly, we are excited and delighted to announce that the remarkable Rachel Ventura’s awesome all-ages adventure A Feast of Flavor has been nominated for an ENnie award for 2018 in the category of Best Family Product! We are very proud of our all-ages Legendary Beginnings line, and doubly so for Rachel’s debut adventure. We definitely hope you’ll support us once ENnies voting begins this year and hope you’ll check out this adventure, which we’ll be making our TWO$DAY product of the week – you can grab the PDF of either the Pathfinder or 5E version for just $2!!!

We are also very close to releasing the awesome Alien Bestiary (Starfinder) to our Kickstarter backers. I will be receiving the layout galleys shortly for final review, and once they’ve been checked and any adjustments made we’ll be posting them up for backers and preparing the book for the printer, and it’ll be ready for all our fans soon thereafter!

There’s so much more to come, but for now raise a glass and give a cheer for LG, and check out the Christmas In July sales coming this week at both the Open Gaming Store and at DrivethruRPG!

The return of MYTHIC MONDAY – and more!

It has been a tale long in the telling, but at long last Path of the Bound is here! Check out the latest path to power and immortality using the mythic rules for Pathfinder, reaching out to powers from Beyond and cementing a bargain that ties you to their will but brings you great reward… as long as you play by the rules. Of course, rules were made to be broken, and you can turn your binding around and become a mythic patron to others, or alter the deal and try to turn things to your advantage. It might even work, for a time, but sooner or later the bill always comes due. The only question is how great and terrible can you become before you have to pay the piper. Take an entirely new step on the path to glory and with Path of the Bound and grab a copy today at the Legendary Games webstore, Open Gaming Store, Paizo, DrivethruRPG, and soon at Amazon!

There are plenty more amazing Pathfinder products coming your way as well, with Legendary Barbarians already in layout and Legendary Cavaliers in final review before it heads to layout too! The Alien Bestiary for Starfinder is nearing completion in layout too, heading out to our Kickstarter backers first and then heading out in general release for everyone while the 5E version follows in its path! Pirate fans also can look forward to Fort Scurvy (5E) and Cutthroats and Crew (5E), with our massive Pirate Campaign Compendium nearing its glorious return to port!

We also want to give a shout-out to our Fates of Madness cooperative RPG card game, which is entering its final week on Kickstarter. This is a new venture for us, stepping outside our tabletop RPG roots, and we need YOUR help to make it happen. We have 7 days left to go, so we urge you to check out the game, including gameplay videos, interviews with podcasters, and more to whet your appetite and show off the fun this game can bring! Check out the Kickstarter now – it all ends on July 9th!

Pirates for Everyone – and so much more!

The last few weeks have been abuzz with activity, getting books out the door and shipping literally HUNDREDS of copies of the Pirate Campaign Compendium for Pathfinder and the Forest Kingdom Campaign Compendium for both Pathfinder and 5th Edition out to our backers, along with tons of bonus books they pledged for. In fact, we’ve been so busy that we’ve sent out ALL of our backer and preorder copies of the Pirate Campaign Compendium (Pathfinder) and that means… YO HO, YO HO A PIRATE’S LIFE FOR EVERYBODY! Even if you missed the amazing nautical Kickstarter this spring, you can now get your very own 500-page print copy or print/PDF bundle at the Legendary Games webstore, Open Gaming Store, Paizoand DrivethruRPG

Fulfillment on the Forest Kingdom Campaign Compendium is rolling merrily along as well, and once we’ve got all of our backer books out the door those books will likewise be available to everyone in the general public, hopefully before the end of June. We’ll definitely have copies of both books in time for GenCon!

Speaking of Kickstarters, the Fates of Madness Card Game Kickstarter is over halfway to its funding goal in just the first week! We are excited to see how far this game will go as we begin building a new audience for this new product line from Legendary Games and our partner on this project, Mythica Games. The team is traveling to numerous cons throughout the summer in support of the game, which they’ve been demo-ing and playtesting for months now, and we’re excited to have the project nearing completion where we’ll be ready to make it happen. Check out the Kickstarter right here, and the first update for a gameplay video!

Last but not least, we wanted to throw out a quick preview for Legendary Barbarians, the latest new class book for Pathfinder from Jeff Gomez, Jason Nelson, and N. Jolly! What will you find between these pages?

Legendary Barbarians is the latest volume in our series of class-focused player supplements, this time focusing on the fearsome barbarians! This core class has long been a staple of fantasy settings, representing both the power of anger and the rejection of civilization. Legendary Barbarians enhances these ideas with a streamlined redesign of the class that provides flexibility, flavor, and ferocity in a class that can tear your enemies apart! With Legendary Barbarians, the barbarian is able to choose the benefits of her rage, opening the class up to a limitless variety of concepts. Enlarging rage increases the barbarian’s size (Hulk Smash), while invincible rage lets her shrug off attacks with ease. Bestial rage transforms the barbarian to an animal and vicious rage sacrifices her hit points for greater damage. Dozens of alternate class features allow a piece-by-piece construction of your perfect barbarian, while 11 new archetypes (such as the mutagenic rager, slavering nightmare, and righteous berserker) tie your abilities together in a theme. The savage archetype trades out rage for a more stoic approach. The fury cannot stop raging. All this, plus new feats (like Wield Halfling), items, brands, and more!

The book is getting its final development pass this weekend and then it’s off to the layout queue to get ready for YOU! Get ready… THERE WILL BE BLOOD!
