Father’s Day is Second Edition Sunday!

First of all, we want to send out a super-salute to all the Gamer Dads out there! Whether you’ve been playing since your were a kid or you just started, running games for your own kids or someone else’s, or just trying to balance work and hobbies and raising your kids the best way you know how, we salute you and thank you. I’ve got three of my own from 16 to 25 and have played with all of them at various times in the past, and it was a blessing and a delight. Help spread the love of our hobbies and always make sure you find the time to connect with your kids when you can! Parenting, it’s the real toughest job you’ll ever love!

Of course, part of parenting is telling terrible jokes and scary stories, and we’ve got ANOTHER new Pathfinder Second Edition adventure from master designer Greg A. Vaughan, this time for 9th level PCs – Feasting at LanterngeistIn this sinister side-trek, your heroes stumble onto a humble village celebration, with laughter and merriment echoing through the surrounding swamps until, inevitably, good times go very, VERY bad indeed! Are the local citizens part of the solution or part of the problem, and will your heroes live long enough to find out? You can grab this 26-page adventure today in PDF and print at the Legendary games webstore, Open Gaming Store, Paizo, Amazonand DrivethruRPG

If you missed it last week, we also are excited to bring you a new 1st-level fantasy horror adventure from master designer Greg A. Vaughan, The Fiddler’s Lament for Pathfinder Second Edition. While Greg is most famous for massive, sprawling adventures of epic scale, this foray into fear is a smaller, more intimate adventure of a lost orphan, a survivor of great tragedy, and a sinister curse that threatens to bring doom and despair! Backers for our Aegis of Empires Kickstarter will be delighted to see both of these adventures heading to their inbox as free BONUS adventures for their chosen edition(s) – including Pathfinder RPG and DnD 5E – but for everyone else it is here at last for Pathfinder Second Edition in print and PDF at the Legendary Games webstore, Open Gaming Store, Paizoand DrivethruRPG

The pandemic is by no means the only crisis happening right now, and by all means Legendary Games encourages you to stand up and speak out in support of love, peace, racial and economic justice, demilitarization and de-escalation of police tactics, and reimagining our communities on a foundation of accountability, respect, and mutual care to build a better society together. We have had our own charity adventure Operation: Nazi Smasher available for both DnD 5E and Pathfinder RPG rules for the past two years, raising money for the Southern Poverty Law Center and BLM, and are delighted to be a part of DrivethruRPG’s Black Lives Matter Mega-Bundle Sale (with *six* incredible bundles just $9.99 each – over a $500 value for each bundle) as well, raising funds for Black Lives Matter, the NAACP Legal Defense Fund, and the Police Accountability Project.

People are still dying daily by the thousands across our nation and our world, and we would love to work together with you to help make it through this very clear and present danger to all of our lives, families, and communities! If you don’t want to support our charities of choice, find another group that needs your support and do what you can financially or otherwise to help them make this world a better place. There’s a lot going on, and it’s going to take all of us.

Stay safe, be well, love your neighbor as yourself, give your dad a great big hug if you’re together and a call if you can’t be, and let’s all work together to Make This World Legendary!
